Queen Brown

The students have been learning about the Revolutionary War. They experienced first hand how the Colonist felt about taxes. Queen Brown made all the students pay a "Stamp Tax" to have their papers graded. Needless to say, the students were angry and were ready to tell their parents how unfair this was. Queen Brown explained why she had done this and refunded all of their tax money. Now, they can say that they understand how the Colonist felt.
